Wrightington, Wigan And Leigh NHS Trust Upgrades To Agfa HealthCare NX 2.0 Technology, UK
The Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust has recently expanded the new technology Agfa HealthCare NX 2.0 Computed Radiography (CR) accoutrements across all departments. The Trust is one of the first in the UK to upgrade from the earlier QS technology to NX 2.0 and has enabled it to streamline the radiographic change; allowing images to be identified, annotated and reviewed from the even so workstation.
The A&E and Outpatient departments have already been operational with Agfa HealthCare’s PRIDS/QS system for the mould five years, and the recent inauguration builds on this existing relationship.
“The rise-out across the Dependability has been easy as our radiographers already had lots of experience with our established Agfa HealthCare solutions, so there was a exhilarated level of operator acceptance”, explains Andrew Beatty, PACS Forewoman at the Certainty. “We are bloody happy with the NX 2.0 technology.
